Barnacle Hotspot.

Got the job creating a DVD and some other design work for The People's Republic of Animation. Time for a new high tide mark.

I Choose Support.

OK, I Choose Noise kicks ass. Go BUY it!

Captains Cog.

Thought I'd better check in. All is well.

I'm editing a promo video for Wolf & Cub which I'll finish up next week. This has been fun and closer to where I want to be/what I want to be and hopefully I'll be doing some design work for a really cool animation company soon as well. I watched Hayao Miyazaki's Porco Rosso about twenty minutes ago and I highly recommend this to anyone. I also just bought I Choose Noise by Hybrid which I'm listening to at this very moment, and it's sounding very cool! Give it a spin.

I know my blogs becomming very stale, almost like a work/creative report or something. To be honest I haven't been socialising a great deal and that's probably not the best thing. A good friend once told me that I needed a good dose of outside perspective and I reckon that would be apt at the moment. I think I need to find some people I have more in common with maybe, somone who'd shine a light on the part of my soul that needs to do some growing. Who knows. I feel like I'm stuck in a transitional period because my heads moved on but my body hasn't. I'll always be fine, because you'll always be fine. Give me an artline, some reflex, and some cola candy. I'm a sucker for cola candy.

In And Under.

Things are well.

We had the launch of The Alt on Saturday, a company for which I developed branding and an identity. The evening was good fun and to be honest I was rather overwhelmed by the praise for my work (thanks again guys!). It concerns me though, that people follow a misconception about talent. So many people approaching me..."Oh, you're so talented!" but they should be saying "Oh, you could be bothered!" because talent is just time and effort (and cause I guess).

As I'm sure I mentioned I spent a long time polishing a new showreel of my work, and I finally started to send it out the week before last. From this I've already received some (possibly regular) freelance design work, and some good feedback.

Getting better at Logic and Final Cut and all the things I really enjoy atm. These passions are all I care about now.

Took a stab in the dark, as I regularly do, and bought 'Classics' by Ratatat. I highly recommend this album.

RIP Steve Irwin.
